The highest-priced home sales in Arizona, ranked, from public records.

Arizona's Most Expensive Home Sales (Updated Q4 2026)

By Clayton Wolfe, Partner at The Agency · Published November 2, 2026 · Last updated November 2, 2026

The current record

I'm Clayton Wolfe, Partner at The Agency in Scottsdale. I track the highest residential sales in Arizona because the advisors who vet an estate purchase want to know where a number sits against the record.

The state record is 5531 E Mockingbird Lane in Paradise Valley, which closed at $40,238,000 on July 9, 2026. It was designed by Candelaria Design and built by Arcadia Custom Builders. Paradise Valley and the Silverleaf community in Scottsdale account for most of the top of the list.

The ranking below is built from closed records I can verify. Where an older or non-Maricopa sale may rank but I cannot yet source it, I leave it off rather than guess.

How I compile this

I rank closed residential sales by price from records I can verify. Prices and dates come from ARMLS closed records and are cross-checked to the county Recorder's deed and Affidavit of Property Value.

This dataset is weighted to recent Maricopa County sales. Older record sales, and sales in Pima, Coconino, and Yavapai counties, may rank and are not yet included. I add them once I source them.

Living area and price per square foot are ARMLS-reported and confirmed against the Assessor. The Arizona record is the sale at 5531 E Mockingbird Lane, $40,238,000, designed by Candelaria Design and built by Arcadia Custom Builders.
